Preheat oven to 350℉.
Cut one medium sized onion and carmelize with olive oil. Onions should be cooked on medium-low heat on your stovetop to allow for proper carmelization which should be take about 30-45 minutes.
While onions are caramelizing, in a large casserole dish or pyrex dish, spread out the broccoli to make a single layer and season with garlic and italian seasoning.
Roast in oven for 20 minutes.
Once onions are done caramelizing mix with broccoli. Put back in oven for another 2-3 minutes.
Pull dish out of oven. Drizzle balsamic glaze and serve.
